I am a painter (BFA, Carnegie-Mellon University) as well as a gardener (Certificate of Horticulture, Brooklyn Botanic Garden). I combine my artistry as a colorist and designer with my love and knowledge of plants to make gardens and bouquets in the same spirit as I would create a painting.
I discovered the joy of gardening in my flower and vegetable plot at the 6/15 Green community garden in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Wanting to learn much more, I interned at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and received my Certificate of Horticulture in 2010. I worked side by side with BBG’s experts, and took classes in a full range of areas from basic botany and plant propagation to urban garden design.
