I first discovered the joy of gardening at 6/15 Green, a community garden in Park Slope, Brooklyn. I spent 9 months as an intern at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden in 2010 and received my Certificate of Horticulture in 2010, working side by side with BBG’s expert gardeners.
Since 2011 I have I designed, planted and maintained gardens throughout Brooklyn. Plants are selected to create a continuously blooming garden, from spring bulbs through fall asters.
I believe in environmentally sound practices, using compost to enrich soil that is often depleted of nutrients. I choose flowering perennials native to our region as well as other plants that encourage pollinators and benefit the overall health of our Brooklyn neighborhoods.
Whether you are looking for a complete design and garden installation or you’re ready to transition your front lawn from grass to a pollinator friendly garden, I will work with you to create something sustainable and beautiful.
